We are looking for a HSEQ Manager to take ownership of WHS across our construction sites. Based on-site and reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be the go to expert ensuring our people go home safe every day. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Updating, implementing and reviewing WHS management plans, SWMS and site-specific safety procedures.
• Conducting regular site inspections, hazard identification, risk assessments and compliance audits.
• Investigating incidents, near misses, and non-conformances and driving corrective actions to close out.
• Ensuring full compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act, relevant regulations and codes of practice.
• Delivering toolbox tasks, site inductions and ongoing safety training to workers and subcontractors.
• Liaising with all Citify Construction staff members, subcontractors and regulatory bodies as required.
• Maintaining accurate safety records, registers and reporting.

To be successful you will have:

• Minimum 5 years WHS experience within the construction industry
• Cert IV in Work Health and Safety or higher
• Thorough knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and codes of practice
• Proven incident investigation experience with strong corrective action follow-through
• Current First Aid Certificate and White Card (must be submitted as part of your application)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities include managing on-site activities, collaborating with contractors and engineers, conducting quality control checks, and ensuring compliance with construction standards and regulations. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills to liaise effectively with teams and stakeholders.
